Kevin O'Connell is not the first victim of abuse at Caldey Island to call for a public inquiry, but he is the first to ask for public support in the form of a petition.
Despite the signatures of over five thousand people in support of Kevin's call upon the Welsh Government for a public inquiry, nothing whatsoever was done. Despite the suffering Kevin endured as a child and countless others, the police will not investigate and the welsh government do not care to inquire who failed them.

Following the failure of the petition committee, Kevin needs your renewed support for his campaign for a public inquiry, please sign the petition and share it with your friends. Nobody wants to think about children being sexually abused but for Kevin and many many others they had no choice and they still don't. Help survivors ensure this never happens again.
Victims are often made to feel ashamed, it takes enormous courage to stand up and say 'I was abused, please help'.
Kevin was only able to speak out in 2017, he and many others have carried a heavy burden of guilt all their lives.
